Opening StatementI have no idea what I'm doing here. I have a very close friend, Aaron, who is doing time right now and I guess I needed a way to connect to others who understand. I'm trying to stay focused on the positives of all of this. How's that for an opening:)

And Another Thing...Ok, so here's the crazy thing. I actually worked in a jail on and off for seven years. Some reason I have always believed in a persons ability to change their life and there for I took a job as a counselor for those who were incarcerated with substance abuse issues. I dated Aaron before he went back to prison, and now here I am trying to help him through this hard time. What can I say, I believe in him.

Closing StatementAt times I get frustrated with the way the system is set up. It makes it almost impossible for people to move on with there lives. I thought about having a garage sale on ebay to earn money for when he gets out. I know, I know, call me whatever you will............Truth is, does anyone out there understand????????????

I still have more to say!So, on a last note. I write music for recovering addicts. I've been doing it for the last 8 years. 3 weeks ago, the prison where Aaron's at let me and my group come in and preform for them. It was awesome while it lasted.

MoviesWhat can I say, I'm a psycho thriller kinda girl. Sometimes I hate that about myself. I like movies where their able to solve a crime using one piece of thread. I once wanted to work in forensics

TVI go through T.V. Junkie phases. Luckily I'm not in one right now. Anything based on a true story and reality T.V.

I still have quite a bit of family there. I graduated in social work, worked in the mental health field for 10 years. After getting very ill for 2 years I totally changed career paths and now work in alternative health.
