Prisoner David is a California inmate currently serving 25 years to life. Before becoming incarcerated, he worked as a radio disc jockey and hosted a popular public access television program. For the last fifteen years, Prisoner David has been sharing stories from the other side of the wall through essays, poems, comedic sketches, and radio commentary. Currently, Prisoner David regularly appears on the Adam Carolla radio program.

Barbed wire and steel bars restrain over two million inmates in the United States. But they can never restrain the hope and creative energy of the human spirit. This is Prisoner David's message to the outside world.
